Halloween

One dark and rainy Halloween... Marie was sitting on her couch waiting for her little sister to come and show her, her costume. As she yelled her name only about 100 times she didn't answer. Marie stood there confused and kind of frightened because both her parents were out of town. She didn't know what to do. As she walked through her cold breezy house, a black cat jumped out. She jumped back 2 feet. "scruffy" don't scare me like that. "Lynn""Lynn", she was so scared now. She slowly walked into her sisters room. She new Lynn was going to be a ballerina for Halloween. She looked in the room the costume was gone all that was there was a ballerina doll that Marie hadn't recognized. She slowly crept towards the doll and she then realized it was her sister. "Oh my gosh Lynn." As she stood there crying and weeping her sister jumped out of the closet and said "HAPPPPYYY HALLOOOWWEENN!" Lynn dont you ever scare me like that again!! okay marie i promise.

This article What is Success by Tom Denham is an article on what success is and what it really means. The words used in this article is to help describe what success is and isnt and to help set a place and images of what is could be. "Successful is worth and worthy pursuit." Success is something you are supposed to want and worship in away. "What does happy mean?" I feel this is saying know one really knows what happy is until you experience it. Spiritual growth, freedom, deep personal relationships. Success has all these traits and is what helps you be able to grow have freedom and make relationships. "Best things in life are not things." That success is more important than whoever has the nicest things its what you bring that matters. "success is neither a destination or journey." You can try to go to places but success is what really matters not where you go or where you end its the long term thats what really counts.

This book has alot of meaning to me. When I was younger my mommy and daddy would always read this book to me. When I got a little older I would read this book to my sister lisa. This book has a big impact on my family just becasue me and my sisters always read it, so there are so many memories for the book. I currently own this book and still love to read it. Even though technically it is for toddlers, but it is still such a nice book. My favorite part of the book is at the end when  the son is rocking the mother to bed instead of the mother rocking the son to bed. He repeats the words his mom would say to him all the time.

"I'll love you forever,
I'll like you for always,
As long as I'm living"

This touches my heart all the time. I would say something like this too my mommy when she gets older because she means so much to me.

H is for Husson University

 HUSSON UNIVERSITY

Husson University is located in Bangor Maine.

3 reasons why I would go to Husson University:

1:  It has a department for health education and doctoring. When Im older I  want to be a doctor and this college provides this education to become a doctor.

2: The class size in Husson is small which would make it easier to learn and give you more opportunities in what you would want to do.

3: The college has different locations of where buildings are so it makes it easier if you wanna stay near to your home. When I'm in college I want to be a good distance away but not to far away.

4: The pricing of the college isn't to expensive so it has many more opportunities to spend extra money on dorms and extra classes.

5:  90 percent of the kids that go to Husson University get multiple scholarships through out the school year  and before the admissions start.

3 reasons Why I wouldn't Want to Attend

1: There are only 2100 students in the school each year. That is almost as big as Guilderland High School. Which personally I would like more students on the Campus.

2:  Husson is a school that is held very highly and its a private school. So the University is very strict.

3: I personally feel its to far away for where I live. Its a 6 hour drive and I would rather be closer to my sisters and parents. So I would wanna go to a college around where I live.

Husson University is somewhere I may go to when I'm older.

When I saw this picture it spoke to me automatically. This reminds me of a picture my parents have of me when I as younger. My parents always said I could be a child model. But this picture reminds me of the old days and what child models would look like. This girl i can see the happiness in her eyes. The way shes posed looks like she is uncomfortable.  I feel this was taken during a war. The only thing she has is her family and her one toy. The photograper i feel really captured the little girl and showed her feelings and her happiness. I liked this photo and it spoke to me alot.

But what you may not know about me is that im secretley a normal every day girl that goes to school hangs with there friends. I live a double life i pretend im a normal girl so nobody notices its me, But when its time for night i dress up and put on make up and live my dream as a fashion designer. Nobody ever knows who i am because Im really good at keeping this secret. Sometimes i wonder if people notice that it is really me. But i guess not cause ive been keeping this a secret for over 4 years. My parents dont think that i should tell anyone yet cause im only in middle school and they dont want my fame going to my head. For i am the best fashion designer out there in this day in time. Nobody knows how old i really am.But with this big thing im thinking about makes me uneasy is what happens when i do tell the world and what happens if i never get live my normal life again. Theres a new trend well not new because back in the old days 1939 this was used. Was used very often in britian during the second world war. This new decor for your house, apartment or bedroom is the "stay calm" posters and pictures. These are posters that have different saying under it. For example "stay calm, blog on". The original "stay calm, carry on" has been selling very well. You can find this postes,keychains and or pictures in your local stores. Or in hucksfinns warehouse, homedepot and bed bath and beyond. This new trend is a great decor for your house.

Recently in troy new york a 4month year old baby was found with mulitple fractured bones.  The father of the baby was at first accused with abusing the baby. But a witness said that the baby as not abused and it was from rickets. A baby can easily break bone from just diaper changing and even caring the baby in a certain way. A Doctor said that it is also because the baby lacked vitamin D. The parents are still in trial because they are not fully sure if the baby was being abused yet. But Doctors and witnesses say that it is possible that the baby just has weak bones. The father went to jail  for man slaughter because they still accuse him for killing his daughter. The doctors think and are almost positive its from lack of vitamin d.

1. Why is the dad on trial?
2.if the baby was killed why didnt they mention it earliers?
3.How long will the dad be on trial for?
4.When will they know if the baby was abused or not?
5. is it really possible for babies bones to break easily?

Skinny models are setting a bad example for teenagers.

In society and all over the news celeberitys are posted everywhere. Everywhere you go you see many models who are way to skinny or even celebritys. This sets a very bad example for kids and teenager these days. I being a teenager always look at the latest trends and fashions. I look up to these models and actresses. But then i see very skinny models  and what they are doing. But this sets a bad example for girls that have problems with what they think of themselves. This just makes them wanna become skinnier or lose alot of weight because of these models. Skinny models set bad examples with teenagers.
